Standing in the centre of the prefecture of Drama, the mountain rises magically into the horizon. It is one of the tallest Mountains in Greece and offers everyone something special. Known best in Greece for the Ski resort, it provides adequate Skiing and Boarding for a short break.

Apart from the “Bald Mountain”, this region offers many natural beauties, ancient ruins and churches. One of the most spectacular areas is the gorge of Pygri which is for the more adventurous as the descent needs around 3 hours to fully appreciate. However, the views of Falakro from here will leave every visitor in ore of the grandeur of nature.
